The city


"The city" is a project that combines ceramics and large ink drawings. Mixing materials leads to an optical illusion as they are one. Viewed from different angles, they complement and create new perspectives.                        

     The idea brings the city to different situations. Searching for Balance between the lines on the drawings and the lines on the ceramics. The drawings show the city from the inside, rather the homes and the way of life. The ceramics show sculpture, architecture and art in a public environment. Comparison between internal and external is sought. The drawings are made of different colours whit ink, the lines are made through an experiment "drip art", which I called updating the ”Troyan pattern”, The Buddha's drawing shows the state of mind during the Covid19 epidemic. When humanity faces such a challenge, there are two ways to cope, one is to be like a Buddha. On the other hand, the picture shows the political unrest in Bulgaria 2020. The Buddha is depicted as Boyko Borissov, a reference is made to the classified case "Buddha". The picture asks the question "What politicians and rules should we have?". The ceramics are made by modular assembly of porcelain. A hand-made gypsum mold was used during the process. Even hollow on the inside, the artworks resemble a sculptural monument looking heavy and massive. The stripes on the ceramics summarize the shape by passing from one surface to another. This creates the illusion that they are with a lots of angles. My personal sense of work is related to the ceramic techniques. I am always looking for new approaches in working with ceramics. The idea I bring to the fore is related to the modern art. The constant work of artists, inspiration and materialism. Character in the work that are in the background of the conceptual art, where artists seek problems and their solutions.

Project Genesis brings out a combination of drawings, ceramics, video and installation. The combination creates a new universe that allows to the audience to immerse, escape and hide from the real problems that arose in the world in 2020. The drawings are made with the  "gravity method", combination of Neo action art, drip art and pop art.  The "gravity method" is created by dropping a ink on a vertically upright sheet of paper, the flow creating a straight line.The other variant of dropping is with a horizontally placed sheet of paper, so the drop is scattered and forms a dot. "Absolute description" short movie - W.T.A.F. 2020

  "Absolute Destruction" aims to show the devastation of everyday life as an individual. The performance is a collection of videos that bring out the body such as sculpture, eroticism, distortion of perspective and anatomy through simple shots.  The video of the final result shows destruction of the shots by re-capturing whit video the screen on which it is mounted. This is done in a dark room and in this case there is not reflections of hands or camera that appear on the video. Showing each new day in life destroyed by the previous one. The idea of ​​destruction penetrates when every day is multiplied, whit making video of the same video it is breaks down into pixels. Colored in like the rainbow, sometimes the screen becomes bright blue with light yellow hues. The whole material is giving signals for a day in life, this is the first frame.
